Review summary

We sailed on the Soverign of the Sea for a four day weekend out of Florida, the ship for the age of it was very nice, the staff was personable and by the second day was calling us by our first name. The food was excellent, and the wait staff could not be more attentive. It was a wonderul short get-a-way, I would highly recommend.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was excellent, in quality and quantity. Many different dining options available, and a wait staff in the buffet area to offer you drinks. The wait staff in the main dining area were extremely attentive and within minutes were calling you by name and tending to your every need.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Very good, variety and entertaining.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Did not use this time, but the kids looked happy.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough for you.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The only area that shows the age of the ship is the plumbing.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The rooms were small.

Ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
The island was beautiful, I wished we could have stayed here for a week. Plenty of room, you did not feel crowded, the food was plentiful and tasty.
Don't Miss: The snorkeling was amazing, and the nature walk was not to be missed, iguana's were everywhere.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Nassau was very nice, we visited Atlantis.

Pros: The food was excellent!

Cons: The rooms were small and the plumbing was old which made for an odor at times.
