beautiful ship. Since they are just launching that medallion app, and it has bugs, they should have a back up system. In addition they advertise the best wi-fi on the ocean, which is not true if you have an android phone and 50% of the population does.

This ship has a medallion application which you are supposed to use when ordering food and drinks, no matter where you or on the ship, however it never worked unless you stood in front of the bar. Because of this app, they did not have bartenders walking about, so every time you wanted a drink by the pool, you had to go to the bar, which at times was three decks down. Once you got the drink, it was mixed in such a small glass, it was three sips and done.

This ship catered to the senior citizens with the average age being 80's. The on board activities where focused on them.

most activities where for the older crowd but the comedian was great. Because there was limited to do on the cruise, i thought I would play bingo, but didn't think it would a fee to play to win a plastic key chain?????

very nice cabin, however balcony was smaller than i had expected but i hardly used the balcony any way.

Ship tip

I think the ship is beautiful but it does cater to the 80 year old and handicap. No lively music was played, it was violin music. The wifi that you purchase is only good if you have an IPhone. I have a samsung so it didn't work, which that should have been stated before you buy the package. The drink package was a farce since the drinks provided are like half drinks anywhere else. The medallion app doesn't work with a samsung phone with the exception of opening your cabin door.

We love the peaceful atmosphere of a Princess Cruise. We’re sailing soon on the Sky Princess and we’re excited to be aboard a new ship. We bring our own YETI beverage cups which they happily fill for you . I know we’ll love it just as much as the Caribbean Princess because we don’t sweat the small stuff.

Sounds like you should cruise Carnival! We were on the ship before you and we had no issues. To those who read this review remember it's one person's opinion!

Thanks for the review. 25 days until I sail. Was there daily activities or games in the Piazza or pooldecks? Can you share a pic of Princess Patter? I learned last cruise to preorder alcohol for room delivery & pack my own insulated glass. I never wait in line for a beverage.
