So you got Legionnaires on the cruise? I was on same cruise. What did ship’s doctor have to say when you reported yourself ill? Was your illness diagnosed by actual lab tests as Legionnaires? I’m sure you can call the princess 800 number and report to them.

Wonder why the ship has not been reported? Due to the nature of the disease and the ventilation system on the ship, I would expect more reports to hit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (www.CDC.gov). Also, on a ship, the Legionella bacteria is supposedly mostly caught from a hot tub or potable water (breathing the steam). I hope you report your issues to the CDC for multiple reasons. Still looking forward to boarding in October.

That is horrible, but you do know that you need to alert Princess and I believe that your doc is obligated to do so as well. Hope you get some relief soon...so scary. We are scheduled to go in March on the Sky.

For those of you in question google legionnaires disease. I was treated at my doctors office and am on antibiotic, two respiratory treatments, daily. I was healthy when I boarded on the 11th. Five days into the cruise I developed a cough, and progressively worsened. My friend who also was on same cruise has same symptoms. She is headed to her doctor today. This disease also has caused me to develop acute bronchitis. If I could get through to Sky Princess I would inform them concerning this condition.

The cruise line made you sick? I mean u could have gotten sick right before cruise or on way there? I hope u feel better but i wouldn't rate the ship badly because u got sick
