Review summary

Overall the cruise was fun but I missed out on my excursions because of a knee injury. Medical was great and provided pain pills, a brace and crutches. But watch out for wet decks. The shows were fantastic and the crew was great.

We got on the ship later than normal but that was because they were doing the ship christening. I didn’t know anything about that until I got on.

I was a little disappointed in the food. It wasn’t bad, it was just not up to princess standards. No specialty restaurants for me this trip. But I will say I loved my waiter in the Soliel dining room. His name is Philip. I will be filling out the princess survey and rave about him and his sidekick Mathew. If you see him tell him Sue says hello. He was fantastic. The Good Spirits bar was a great place for cool cocktails. Loved the Cartagena.

Room steward Albert was wonderful. Philip my waiter was fantastic. I can’t say enough about him.

The only reason I rated this 4 is because there are dead ends and you cant walk around the ship outside on the promenade deck. In the bow there is an elevator that goes to the 5th floor but once you get there you can’t go anywhere.

Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was weird. It had a hill in the middle. Be careful of the puddle that forms right out side the balcony door. There is a drainage scupper. But the water puddled right before. I hurt my knee slipping on that. It was reported and security came and looked at it and took pictures. I ended up putting a towel right out side the door to step on to get in and out. I hope they fix it, but if not be aware.
