Review summary

Was underwhelmed. OLife air was ridiculous, very bad connections and hotels overpriced. Free air transfers are not really free if padded into the hotel price.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining rooms are good but not what they market themselves to be, food is good presentation is nice but not outstanding. Deserts were marginal. The Tuscan Grill was very good and did live up to Oceania's reputation.

Again group too larger to hear guide and no headsets.

Bordeaux, France

We really only had half a day here. Waited on the ship after we docked approx. 2 hours for a booked tour thru Oceania. Walking tour of Bordeaux, guide was easy to understand if we were right next to her, Oceania should supply headsets, our group of approx. 29,much to large. It was Saturday and city was very crowded. Thought we would be able to enjoy Bordeaux Sunday morning. Spoke with other passengers and this was there understanding too.

Le Verdon-Sur-Mer (Bordeaux), France

WHY? Could not leave ship at this industrial harbor. Waited over 3 hours for the passengers who had taken a tour that left Bordeaux in the morning. I felt that since we did not book a tour our time was stolen, I enjoyed the sailing to Le Verdon but we could have stayed in Bordeaux a few hours for those who would have enjoyed touring the city more. Docking for several hours in Le Verdon was a vast for those of us on the ship and was only to accommodate the passengers on the tours returning.

San Sebastian (Donostia), Spain
