Good experience, mostly positive experiences from the onboard ship activities, service and condition to ports visited. All the ports had numerous, duplicative "hawker markets" which got old real fast as about all were just selling same junk.
Embarkation

Horrible-boarding after passing thru crowded shopping mall with little to no signage nor instructions. No a good opening experience.

Food and Dining

Above average cuisine--one to two real misses on dinner servings. Dress attire from formal to casual too confusing. Need to keep it simple.

Staff and service excellent all around. one the better cruise lines for service and staff
Ship Quality

Well maintained but dated ship. TV remotes from vintage in the 90's, same for TVs
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Excellent size, for our itinerary, a balcony was not necessary nor would have been used. Dated TV and especially the remote which was not intuitive at all. Beds comfortable, great cabin staff to keep clean and organized.
Kayak excursion on the Bay was fun, and good way to see the bay. Morning visit to HaLong city ok but really not much to see other than experiencing local culture. Hanoi was too far for us to go and return on bus in one day to just see a large city.
We organized our own private guide and excursions over the 1.5 days while in port. A few interesting sights but after a while get "templed" out. Trip to floating market and train . market interesting if one can tolerate many many tourists. Advantage of ship size is it was able to get close to city center vs being docked 1.5 hrs or so further away, having to fight the horrible Bangkok traffic. We strongly recommend the Siam theatre show which we did on our own and surprisingly was not on the offered ship excursions. ( a little pricy though at about USD $65)
