Review summary
If you must go with Regent avoid this ship at all costs. I have had better food on cruises that cost half as much. Going back to Viking.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Galileo's
Closed for private parties two nights, it is only decent spot to get a pre dinner drink on this small and old ship. They closed it twice when the daily said it would be open normal hours, real garbage thing to do.Best place on limited ship to hang out. Band played songs for the living and dancing dead
Sette Mari at La Veranda
The worst food on the ship, they could not cook to save their lives. Pasta and tomato sauce passes for a dish. The veal dishes and antipasta were so bad.
Pool Grill
They could not figure out how to cook a birger they we well done or burnt.
La Veranda
Breakfast buffet, like being at Hampton Inn
Compass Rose Restaurant
Like eating in a Holiday Inn banquet room. Food is bland and boring. No flair
Onboard Activities
Destination Services
Worst customer service we ever experienced. Rude and nasty
Casino
What casino nightmares are made of
Entertainment
Children's Programs
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Ship tip
I would change my plans, you are better off going on a mid level cruise ship and upgrading your stateroom, this ship is bad
