Our sixth cruise, amongst a variety of price and service providers. Regent is the best so far, and we look forward to another experience. Top notch across the board. From arrival to departure, they have it together. When weather blew us out of tendering in Taormina, Sicily, two hours or so later we were docked in Messina, the day continued as planned. No hassles, just results. My compliments to everyone on the ship.

Pros: Fabulous Crew

Cons: Had to Leave

Recommends Seven Seas Mariner? Yes!

Ship Quality
Public restrooms in the right spots, good accessibility to all sections of the ship. Smaller size helps a lot. In two ports, they replaced some wall coverings in public areas that looked pretty darn good still.
Food and Dining
All dining areas provided great service, selection, and options. Wine provided with meals all was very good, we found little need to upgrade to available premium wines. Sommeliers all very friendly, but not pushy at all.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a room with a tub shower combo; the tub took a good high step to get into and out of. OK for us, but maybe not for others. If mobility is an issue, get a cabin with a shower only.
Service and Staff
I would give them ten smiles if possible.
Entertainment
They worked hard, good shows for such a small ship. Dedicated entertainers, friendly during the cruise. The crew put on the show the last night of entertainment, and it was really touching and a real surprise. They also had a very unique welcome back ceremony one afternoon.
Children's Programs
Not sure, as there absolutely no children on board. But if there were, I suspect Regent would treat them with style and dignity. I will give them a five anyway.
