Review summary

GM Massimo was quite offensive to my bride & another couple in separate incidents. There is sadly a corporate & Explorer culture of rigid rule following over delighting guests. He decided to not let me board even though we all knew I'd have my e-visa the day after sailing, 13 days before arriving in Rio & with 3 ports in between I could disembark in if visa didn't come through. Ruined 1st 3 days of our 15th anniversary cruise, as I had to remain in Cape Town & fly to the 2nd port.

Why blame the cruise line because one traveler failed to have all their documentation in order before embarkation? Your rating and review of Cruise staff are not even close to fair. As it has been said, one should have *all* their travel documents in order well before embarkation day.

Cruise company didn't ruin your first 3 days of your trip. YOU did, keep your papers in order!!

Why should you expect to break the rules. Should have sorted out your visa sooner. Take responsability for your actions dont blame others.
