Review summary

We are not happy with the cruise. This is our 6th cruise (2nd with Royal Caribbean) and it was extremely disappointing. We didn't get to do all our favorite things. It was really boring on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The buffets were always packed so that made it very difficult to get a table, even for only two people. Our experience in the main dining room, food was good but service wasn't. We waited 40 minutes after we finished eating to get dessert. Chops grill was definitely the highlight of the cruise. Amazing food and the only place we received excellent customer service.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
The whirlpools had no jets, were luke warm and they were always packed. There were only two pool tables and one dartboard and we never had an opportunity to play because they were always people waiting. We have enjoyed the trivia activities but it was really hard getting a seat. We had to sit so far away that we couldn't here the trivia questions.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We only made it to the one stage show and it was fine. The musicians and DJ were ok as well but not much fun.

Children's Programs

No kids with us.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The customer service was not good. We had plates stacked at our table because they weren't getting picked up. The staff looked like they were mostly unhappy.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The inside of the ship was clean and well maintained. The upper deck was horrible. It smelled so bad of poop that we couldn't play mini-putt, basketball, shuffleboard, etc. We attempted to go each day at different times to see if it was better but it never was so we missed out on all those activities that we usually enjoy.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The size was good. The door on the closet was broken and the light above it wasn't working. There was some sort of rooftop outside our balcony so we couldn't look down on the ocean which was disappointing.

Ship tip

Don't do it. Pick a different ship.
