Nice to get away. 4 days is very short. I find it hard to believe that people bring multiple large suitcases for 4 day cruise. Food was adequate, service great, room wonderful, entertainment poor. Quite a few children since it was during summer break, but they all seemed well behaved.

Food in main dining room, adequate, nothing memorable.
Chef's Table, great experience, wonderful food and service. Be prepared for a 3 1/2 hour meal.
Had a suite, so able to go to Chops for breakfast. Quiet, average food, good service.

Participated in trivia, not much else. But there was plenty to do otherwise if you chose to.
Entertainment

Production show was average.
Guest entertainer "El Gaucho" was just about the least entertaining we have ever seen on Royal....do yourself a favor and take a nap rather than see this disaster.

Older ship, could use some fresh paint and furnishings. Elevators frequently went by your floor.
Cabin / Stateroom

Suite 1600, grand suite, aft facing on the corner. Well appointed stateroom, great bathroom (large step down out of tub). Nice balcony, a little tight but with table, 2 chairs, and 2 lounges. Some noise from Windjammer above, but quiet hallway since we were at the end.

Leave 5 minutes early to get to your destination, elevators are slow and frequently miss your floor.
