The first three days felt like we were puttering around, passing the same places over and over. No show on the first night was disappointing. I had fried chicken for dinner that was a weird piece with very little meat on it. We ate lunch at the Windjammer each day and the food was better there than in the MDR. Not many people dress for dinner, even on formal nights which is disappointing. Our table for two had tables about a foot away on either side. Neither of these men wore anything but tshirts and shorts for dinner. I wish there was a higher bar regarding dressing for dinner. Because of our slow start, the week went by too quickly. If we had had the time, we would have stayed onboard for the next cruise which was 14 days through the Panama Canal.
Embarkation

I had requested a wheelchair because I have a broken ankle. It was there for me as was a Royal Caribbean employee to push me through the embarkation process
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The Windjammer was excellent throughout the trip. The MDR was good on the first couple of days but became outstanding after that. Plenty of food. Desserts and pastries outstanding everyday.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The whirlpool in the Solarium was not very hot and the bubbles were weak. The Solarium itself was peaceful and lovely. Trivia was fun. Sitting outside on our balcony or in the area outside of the Windjammer was lovely.
Entertainment

The comedian was really good. The girl who did the Adele show was outstanding. The ship’s singers and dancers were disappointing and below Royal Caribbean standards. Music in the Centrum was alway very good.

Service and Staff

Our Waiter, Raul, was very professional and took good care of us. His assistant waiter was great and very friendly . His name begins with an A but can’t remember the rest. We were in 9570 and our room steward was EXCELLENT. I don’t remember his name, but he seemed to be right there every time we came to or left the cabin, asking if we needed anything. The man welcoming people to the Windjammer was friendly, enthusiastic, and caught me at one point when I stumbled. He was delightful.
Ship Quality

It is a beautiful ship. Small enough to navigate easily, and classic in design. We loved it.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a spacious balcony cabin. It was the smallest we have ever had even though it was supposed to be an upgrade from a regular balcony. The bathroom is extremely tiny and hard to maneuver with a cast on my foot. We tried to pay to get a bigger cabin with no luck. The people at the next table at dinner were upgraded without a problem and didn’t pay extra. I don’t know the rhyme or reason of that, but we went to guest services as soon as we saw our cabin to ask and pay for an upgrade without success.
Ship tip
Beautiful ship. Small cabins unless you get a suite. Royal performers below par.
Only embarked here. Had we not had the wheelchair and attendant, the lines were long and it seemed like you went through too many of them. Back and forth in the building.
LOVED this port. Did the bus tour around the city and it was great, as was the bus driver and the tour guide. We were moored in a great spot and could see the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from our balcony. Passing under the bridge as we left was breathtaking.
Debarkation was a breeze with an employee pushing the wheelchair. Or bags were right there when we got off and the attendant stayed with us until our Uber arrived.
