Review summary

My wife and I were left behind in Bermuda on 10/25 on day 5 of our cruise. We are both senior citizens and 1st time cruisers. We had the Devil's Isle Cruise Beach Snorkel booked and it got canceled. NO ONE TOLD US ABOUT A DEPARTURE TIME THAT DAY.There was no signs, no announcents no warnings! Our clothes and belongings are all left on the ship.We occurred major expenses as a result of being left behind without clothing, medications and our personal items. This was a honeymoon cruise ruined.

Oh dear. Cant really believe someone didnt think about return time before getting off ship.

There was a sign. It said to be back by 2:30pm, crew by 1:30pm.

That is a sad event preventable by rule of P's. If you have to look that up then you should have been able to safegaurd yourself from such an unfortunate circumstance. You own this one though I feel bad for you.

I did so much research for my first cruise that I purchased a old fashion dial watch from Walmart and I wore that watch from day one. So I was always set to ship time everyday. I guess this is a lesson learned and expensive lesson.

This is NOT the ship's fault.

How many times are people told to wear a watch that is set to ship time and to be back within a hour of departure? It is up to you to know what time the ship departs. It is always posted on your daily flyer if you don't know you always ask before stepping off the ship

Time u need to be back always posted or announced

It would be in the daily handout. And on all our cruises it is posted on a sign as you get off the ship. Guess it would have been a 5 star cruise if they would have told them.

wolfman1944    6 years ago

Surely you would have thought to ask that very important question

All that and it’s STILL a 4 star review. TROLL

Not so sure about this review. What cruise were you on? Nothing listed in your profile. Senior citizens? Honeymoon? First time cruisers? πŸ€”
