Serenade of the Seas

Sail Date: February 14, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We had a great time.  Ship was smaller than what we are use to. Larger ships had more to do keeping the days at sea more interesting. I don't think we would take another cruise out of New Orleans.  River very rough.  Next time will take a cruise out of Florida.  In February much warmer. Ship very clean.

Ship Quality
Very clean, smaller than what we are use to.
Food and Dining
The food was very good but nothing outstanding.
Service and Staff
The waitress in Chops Grill (Irma) was great, very funny. Outstanding service
Entertainment
The comedians were the best.
Children's Programs Did not use
Onboard Activities
Casino should be smoke free!
Destinations and Excursions
Enjoyed swimming with the dauphin in Grand Cayman and day at the beach in Mexico
Cabin / Stateroom
Very clean, great service. Our view was slightly obstructed by the life boats just below our balcony.
This was our first balcony room, I would definitely get another one in the future.
New Orleans, Louisiana
Mardi Gras was quite a site! Glad we went.
Falmouth, Jamaica
Very poor city. Not much to do other than the fall which we had already done.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Beautiful water, swam with the dauphins.
Cozumel, Mexico
Spent the day at the all inclusive beach. Lots to do. Very relaxing.

Tip

Woke up with a headache and headed to the spa. They were able to get me in for a head, neck and shoulder massage and my headache was gone!
If you are thinking of doing the murder mystery, don't . We were not told it was the same night as the Prime rib and Lobster dinner in the dinning room .
