Review summary

This was our first Virgin Voyages cruise; traveled as 4 couples and enjoyed the brief getaway. Nice mix of activities, time on your own and group dinners. Kudos to the Experience Team and to Virgin for recognizing a commitment to customer service and the travel experience.

Everyone was attentive and friendly, encouraging to participate in activities but never pushed. Created an inclusive vibe. Host and wait staff at specialty restaurants were attentive and responsive.

Still a new ship; we'll maintained, comfortable public spaces, hip dining spots yet unpretentious. They got the vibe right for all ages and interests.

Size was fine, storage space adequate for a shorter cruise. The tablet to control room functions was cool.

Ship tip

Accept that you won't unplug from your device for pure r&r because you need it for everything. The bracelet makes for a nice alternative to the room key!
