Review summary

Overall, I would give this cruise a B-or 3 out of 5. We researched and did our homework before picking this particular cruise line and ship. The food was overrated by previous sailors, the pool was not a pool at all, and our sleep quarters were not good at all. Also, their app is not the best. It was too slow or confusing when trying to book a restaurant reservation. Regardless of our not-so-great experience, we're still happy we were able to get away.

While I like the variety of food eateries offered in the Galley, each eatery did not have a lot of options. Some had the same 3-5 items. Also, making reservations ahead of time did not work on the app because the times were grayed out, so it was confusing whether it was even an option or not.

Onboard Activities

I liked the different activities offered; however, the pool was very small and always full unless it was a day at a port.

The interior carpet on deck 14 needs a deep clean and the pool also needs to be cleaned. By the time I wanted to go in (while 95% of sailors were on excursions), the pool water looked murky. Lastly, our room had a funny smell from the first day.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were below The Galley and could hear chairs and tables constantly moving. Additionally, we heard either plates or other items fall in the middle of the night and woke us up at least 3 times.

Ship tip

If offered a room in deck 14, don't accept. Ask for another room in a different deck.

Not sure if you chose your cabin or they assigned it. Never let them assign it. Always pick midship and make sure the decks above and below you are guest cabins. Try to be a few cabins away from elevators or stairwells and try to make sure there are cabins across the hall from you because crew access doors can be a noisy place as well. The other issue is try not to book a cabin with a a-joining doors. The noise travels through the door, jams more readily through the walls.
