This was our first time trying Virgin Voyages and it made us want to never cruise another line. We usually cruise based on the itinerary and stay away from sea days. We're all about the ports and would typically not book a cruise to the Bahamas and DR. But Virgin was so fantastic that we did not care one bit about the itinerary. We would have been happy with no ports at all! And that's not something I would ever say about a ship. They really blew me away and made the other cruise lines look bad.

The best food I've ever had on a cruise. The only thing I didn't care so much for was Gunbae. We LOVE Korean BBQ but this is more like Korean for beginners. The meat needs to be marinated. Needs more authentic flavors.

The entertainment was outstanding. The best entertainment I've experienced on a cruise ship. There's a lot of artistic and interpretive performances, and I love it. I'm so tired of the same old, exhausted entertainment options on other cruise lines. The singers and musicians are so talented and don't miss a note.

I love the crew on Virgin Voyages! Everyone is happy and sociable! They feel like friends and they're supported in their lifestyles and paid a living wage. If you make your employees happy, they will make your customers happy. Period.
Ship Quality

I love the design of the ship. Every space feels intimate and it doesn't feel crowded. There's no giant venues. The ship design is innovative and thoughtful. It's easy to get around. It's up to date and not dated and tacky like Carnival (tacky and/or dated), RCCL (tacky and/or dated) or Princess (dated even when ship is new). They thought about the passenger so much when designing the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin is nice but a tad small compared to other balcony cabins I've sailed in. The design is incredible, they really thought about everything. I love the style and decor and having a hammock on the balcony is one of the best parts! We had no issue with storage space and thought there was enough.
Ship tip
Make sure you book your dining ahead of time. Bring red for scarlet night, nice PJs for the pajama party and 80s workout gear for the VHS workout class.
If you lik eclectic entertainment u should try the Edge ships in Celebriry. Have not tried Virgin yet, been all the others & Celebriry is my fav! I am looking to sail in the fall & I am considering Virgin so thanks for review & photos
