Ecclectic new concept for cruise ship. Go with an open mind and try everything at least once - and in most cases you will be pleasantly surprised. We like it enough to try it again in December!
Embarkation

On this particular day - this was their weakest point. There was some confusion among the crew handling which line and what time to go. I chalk most of this to folks on the pier were hot, tired and in need of water. However, once you got inside their terrminal - everything worked as designed. The check in process inside the termain was smooth, professional and very welcoming.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We tried all the eating venues except Razzle Dazzle. We liked the Test Kitchen and the Pink Agave the best of all and surprisingly The Galley was a close second. The food in these 3 restaurants was very good and interesting in combinations and presentations. The Galley may not have had the fanciest of settings but the food was wonderful and fresh made to order. So scrambled eggs were made when you ordered them - not dished out from a warming tray. Unfortunately really didn't find the other venues anything to write home about.
Onboard Activities

Trivia games - happening every evening and sometimes in the afternoon. Great host who knew how to control a rather rowdy crowd. Best actiity!
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Saw only one nigh's entertainment - and it was outstanding. It seemed to be a cross between West Side Story and Cirque du Soleil. Wonderful acrobatics!
Children's Programs
This is an adults only cruise line. Must be 18+ to cruise
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
This is Scarlet Lady's best feature - each & every member of the crew. Without exception they were ready, willing and able to assist any guest who had a question or a problem. Granted we had less than 50% guest capacity - the crew really had a tremendous guest focus and very intent on providing 5 star service & I think they achieved it.
Ship Quality

Unique design - main areas ran the whole gambit of Victorian to Ikea based designs. We found most of the chairs were not comfortable for sitting more than a few minutes. The booths in the Test Kitchen and Pink Agave were the best but the public areas could use some more pillows. Most of the cushioned seats were way too long for anyone under 6' tall to enjoy. Someone should take into consideration the vertically challendged individuals (5/4" and under).
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a terrace XL cabin - we thought it was great size, very neatly laid out. I would like a few drawers either in the closet or in the night stands. Loved all the USB ports in the cabin - made the electrical outlets almost unused. Our cabin steward was awesome. Cabin always thoroughly cleaned and ice bucket filled & at the ready.
Ship tip
Go with an open mind - try everything at least once -- you'll be surprised
The beach club did not look anything like the picture on website. It was more rustic. We could not find anyplace to refill water bottles and no where to get a snack like fresh fruit. Bars were good and bartenders made some great drinks.
