Review summary

The cruise gives you a nice little view of two Scandinavian capital city’s (Oslo & Copenhagen). Zeebrugee is good for a trip into Blankenburge and Skagen is a small Danish coastal town which in my view is worth a visit.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Getting on the ship excellent, but getting into the terminal disastrous 3 ships in that day and parking company didn’t have enough drivers on duty.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Buffet food very good, restaurant dining okay could be better choices on menu, eg same cheeses every night. No captains gala dinner a bit disappointing.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Plenty of room and cupboard space. Good size bed and bedding. Very large tv for the size of the cabin.

Ship tip

Cabin E422 advertised as having a obstructed view but actually it is partially obstructed quite a good sea view.

Ports of call

Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium

We took the €10 return shuttle bus from the dock to Blankenberge which is a nice seaside town with a pier. Plenty of shops and bars to try the excellent Belgium beer. We found a bar that overlooked the quay which served 17 different beers🍺

Copenhagen, Denmark

4 out of 5
Take the free shuttle bus. Do the canal boat ride you will see lots of sights. Then go to tivilo gardens.

Skagen, Denmark

4 out of 5
A nice little coastal town take shuttle bus or walk. Good museums and houses to visit. Shops and restaurants in town.

Oslo, Norway

4 out of 5
City bus tour very expensive but you get to see the city. Some very good museums in Oslo the Viking boat and villages worth a visit. Try and visit the excellent resistance museum which is inside the fort (free entry to the fort only) which was next to where the our ship was docked.
