Guess I'm not a "more than 50% of cruise at sea" person

Review summary
So the main reason for this cruise was the simple fact that my mother refuses to fly. Soooooo....the only way to get to Pearl Harbor was by an extremely long boat ride. We decided to make a holiday trip out of it by going over the xmas time, which was nice with the way that Princess decorates the ship. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the ship, staff, or food..just too many sea days. My whole reason for cruising is to do reconnaissance on where I'd like to visit again. But nine days at sea with only four days in port was not an efficient way to accomplish anything. Maybe never going back to Maui, which was just too touristy for me. I'll take north shore Oahu any day. We did miss seeing Kauai due to extreme winds across the bow, so that was disappointing, but I realize that safety is paramount.Embarkation
