Review summary

We were so excited to sail on this ship in the west coast. We were not disappointed over all. The Mexican Riviera itinerary was great and sailing in April was ideal since the weather was not too cold and not too hot. The room and the room steward were below expectations, but our dining room staff (Mary, Giovani, and Marius) were amazing. The service was phenomenal! The food was delicious and always made to order. The cruise director’s crew were so great. This was the most entertaining group I’ve sailed with in my seven cruises. We cannot wait unit our next cruise.

@cbelc2: The issue with the room was more of the level of service like when we first got there to the room after it was cleaned there was a bucket full of sand and children’s sand toys under the table. The robes that we requested in advance online were not brought at any point in the cruise. And other little things that make me think that the room was not taken care of as well as we’ve had experienced before. The steward was nice but we didn’t particularly interact with him much. We’re not really messy people so maybe there wasn’t much to do in cleaning our room. Also I know this is totally minor but I loved having the towel animals, Grand Princess has then last year in the Alaska Cruise, even Carnival had them.

What type of room did you have, and what was wrong with it and/or your steward?

Sorry to hear about the room steward, does happen. Glad you found a good table for dinner though. 165 days until we board for the Sea of Cortez.
