When were your prior cruises ? Times have changed over the years on cruise lines, as the economy has tanked. what had been free is now charged for. Prices of cruises have not gone up with inflation so the lines up-sell you on everything they can. Want fruit juice other then breakfast, you have to pay for it, mint on pillow every night, gone on some lines, want a fantastic meal, up-sell restaurants, the loyalty cocktail party, gone on some lines and now you get a coupon for one free drink on sea day brunch. (what if I don't want to start drinking that early?
Cruising is very different then when I started. So to compare then to now is not fair. If your expectation are those of 20 or 30 years ago you will not be happy on regular cruise line today. To get that level of food and service you have to step up to the higher level of cruise lines.

Thank you for posting your review. Usually cruise lines are consistent across the fleet as to how and what they charge for things over and above the baseline cruise cost. Otherwise it would be a nightmare for accounting. IF you have a chance, it would be helpful to see the comments you left off of your review.
I hope things go better on your next sailing.
