Review summary
Traditional cruising for the modern world. Rotterdam has an understated comfortable elegance with all of the modern amenities that travelers could expect to find on land. Most importantly HAL respects its history and that is noticed in details throughout the ships design. Truly felt like I was on an ocean liner and not a theme park on the water. Don’t be mistaken entertainment and music onboard was top notch. 14 nights in all and the food never disappointed. Excellent quality, service, and attention to detail. If you are looking for a more relaxed vacation experience with fine dining and evening entertainment HAL should be on your radar. I’m Diamond plus on Royal Caribbean but HAL has definitely earned my new business. Age 40 here as a point of reference. (HAL gets a lot of slack on age demographic lol).Embarkation
