Review summary
Spectacular scenery on this Norwegian Fjord cruise. We sailed between waterfalls and went to the top of snow covered mountains. We were in Amsterdam for just a day but it was still enjoyable. The Movenpick was a decent hotel that was right next to the port allowing for easy walk onto the ship.Embarkation
It was seamless using VeriFLY, showed out phone and walked right onboard. No wait.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
The Lido buffet was OK, only good meal I had up there was a stir fry made in front of me. They seemed to have the same things every day. Club Orange was great, love the service and even though the food was the same as the main dining room, I had no complaints. I felt the Pinacle Grill was lacking with the quality of the food. I get better NY Strip steaks at my local Publix although I can't complain about the service.
Onboard Activities
Didn't take part in any since this cruise was so port/excursion centric. I really welcomed the sea days!
Entertainment
Didn't catch any of the big shows in the theatre, but I alway enjoy Lincoln Center Stage/BB King Blues.
Service and Staff
They all get 10+ stars for the service. From the room steward and butler to the people in the Neptune Lounge and all over the ship. Holland's staff is so personable and friendly, it makes the voyage that much more pleasurable!
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
First time in a Neptune Suite. AMAZING. Loved the extra space and the perks that come with it from the Neptune Lounge, Club Orange and the FREE laundry service.
Ship tip
Bring a nightlight (something to plug in or a phone battery backup with a light) to use in the bathroom at night so you don't have to turn on all the lights.

Ports of call
We went on a Pizza and Beer Canal cruise in the evening. I booked it on VIator. It was very enjoyable, the food was decent and the Heineken was flowing.
