We love HollandAmerica Line-upscale food, entertainment & service over other lines. Worked well for us, but it’s not a family friendly line, for children or young adults. We prefer this size ship over the Mega ships- the Rotterdam & its sister ships have what we need & are easier to navigate & become familiar with. Lovely staterooms

Very good performances by StepOne Dance Co., 1 comedian was very funny, the other not so good. Rick band was great, but came down with “health concerns”, so we didn’t have that type of music the 2nd half of our cruise. Other music venues were good.

The best staff ever on a cruise we’ve been on! Always a smile (you can tell even behind a mask!) & a hello. All are happy to do anything that would make your cruise better. Room steward Ackmad was EXCELLENT

Our 1st time with a balcony!! Comfortable outdoor furniture.
The couch was very comfortable, more than adequate closet & storage space, nice desk area, bedside reading lamps are really nice
Ship tip
Sea view pool in the back is quieter, cooler due to the breeze you get & cooler (more refreshing!) water compared to the Lido pool.
Love the beach area & we recommend taking the water taxi as a means of transportation to the Las Olas Blvd area as well as a sightseeing trip of the homes & yachts on the waterways.
We have stayed on island on another trip, there’s lots to do. But with our ship leaving at 3pm, we didn’t have enough time to explore as much as we’d have liked. A FULL day there would be really nice-arriving in the early morning & leaving at 9/10 pm would be best!
