Our cruise was exceptional. The meals were the best we have ever experienced on any of our previous river or ocean cruises. Excellent service and wonderful personable staff. They were especially thorough about being aware of allergies. Gourmet delights without any concerns of medical disasters. We were impressed beyond our expectations. We plan on doing the same trip in a couple of years, just want to relive it all!
Wonderful in every way, the food, my cabin,(obtained a one level free upgrade because I was a repeat guest, last cruise with UniWorld 2013) Cleanness of the ship. Helpfulness of the personnel. Due to the 100 degree temperature and extensive walking one day my feet were swollen and the Wellness Coach gave me a foot massage and brought to my cabin a foot soak basin with herbal balm I could rub on my feet that would help elevate the swelling, It worked the next day I was fine. I didn't need to request this service he saw I had my feet propped up while sitting on the upper deck and promptly took action. Fee? a grateful thank you, nothing more.
We had never been on a river cruise and were really eager to try this experience. We are very happy that we did! Uniworld and the crew of the River Duchess (the River Queen had problems so they switched ships) clearly exceeded our expectations. Every aspect of the cruise was handled professionally and without any hitches.
