Review summary

It was a great first cruise experience. There was always plenty to do both at sea and on shore. the majority of the shows were really good. we enjoyed the excursions we went on, but our favorite day on shore was on Cozumel where we rented a Jeep for $50 and went to the East side of the island to spend the day on the beach.

Ports of call

George Town, Grand Cayman

Don't Miss: snorkeling

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Favorite day on shore - rented a jeep for $50 and drove to the South and East sides of the island. On the south there's a Jamaican theme restaurant with free hammocks on a quiet beach, some similar sites on the East. Much less crowded than the West where the ships dock.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

3 out of 5
Did the Dunn's River Falls and Ocho Rios Highlights tour and would recommend it. Don't miss the falls. We would recommend leaving valuables onboard so you can do the "wet climb" up the falls, though there are lockers available.

Pros: enjoyed the food, lots of music, rock climbing wall

Cons: lots of emphasis on shopping onshore which isn't our interest
