Just about everything aboard Virgin Voyages' ships is different to other cruise lines' efforts. It's as though Branston told his design team to start from scratch and ignore everything the others were doing. No cruise director; no public announcements; no buffets; no conventional drinks packages; no kids; and a fascinating adult-oriented acrobatic floorshow in one of the theatres - one where some of the acrobats mingled during the performance with the audience, who were entranced when they weren't ducking for cover. Well done, Virgin, and we'll see you again in 2025.Embarkation
