Review summary

Great to be cruising again! Overall, the cruise was great. The staff applauded us when we first boarded (which was surprising but touching) and continually showed us their appreciation that we were aboard. Can’t think of a single instance where any of the crew didn’t greet us with a smile and friendly hello. Can’t wait for our next cruise!!

Embarkation

We were surprised just how quickly we boarded the ship! Princess has streamlined their boarding process with no more long lines or sitting in a large waiting area for an hour before being allowed to board. Hope the continue with this process after Covid.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Horizon Court was a bit of a disappointment from past cruises we’ve been on. There were a shade over 1300 passengers on the cruise so from a business sense, they had to cut back on the amount of food. Just wished they would’ve cut back on the food I don’t like!! 😂

Onboard Activities

We did not utilize the pool or gym but it appeared that those who did really enjoyed them

Entertainment

The “Broadway” shows were entertaining but I found the one singer/musician (can’t remember his name) was very full of himself and his imitations of other famous people were terrible.

Piazza Atrium

We love the Piazza and spend a lot of time here. It’s elegant surroundings and the International Cafe and coffee bar make this a great place to relax, enjoy the live music, and drink a Latte!!

Service and Staff

Impressive service in all areas. We felt truly spoiled!!

Ship Quality

Entire ship was spotless. Crew were always busy cleaning something. Just wish I could take a couple of them home with me!!

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a Mini Suite and Ismel kept our cabin immaculate. We book the Mini Suite for the tub/shower and larger cabin and balcony. We are always comfortable and feel the extras are well worth the money.

Ship tip

This was the second time we’ve been on the Regal and although there were several years between the cruises, it took us no time to become familiar with the layout and know which deck we needed to go to.
