Review summary

This was our first cruise and for the most part it was what I expected but on the other hand I will be looking at other cruise lines for future cruises.

We mainly ate at the buffet but the food was excellent.

Onboard Activities

Most of the activity was geared towards older adults and they pretty well dominated all outside activities such as shuffle board and the pickle ball court.

Entertainment

The Beatles Mania was really good. I feel that there could have been more variety of music played. I am assuming because of the wind the bands played very few time on Deck 16.

The staff was very good, always smiling and ready to help with anything you needed.

The cabin was adequate size and easy to get around in.

Ship tip

If you are elderly and enjoy a very low key cruise then I would highly recommend the Regal Princess.

The island itself was nice but the excursion that we went on was not worth the money. We choose the "Locals Night Island Sunset Party at Paradise Point" and paid $49.95 per person. We could have taken the Skyride to Paradise Point on our own and paid 1/2 the price. There was nothing included in the excursion but that ride.
