Review summary

We usually sail on another cruiseline. As our 1st time on Princess, we were underwhelmed, considering that we had heard good things by regular Princess cruisers.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The fitness center was very claustrophobic.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The singers & dancers were excellent. The Mexican folklore act was also good. The comedian was terrible.

Children's Programs

no kids

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Service was spotty. Dining room staff sometimes didn't introduce themselves. Took a long to to serve us.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was clean. We used the stairs most of the time and it was difficult to figure out which way to get out of the stair/elevator area. The theater holds less than 1,000 people and since there are over 3,600 people on board. As such, we needed to show up between 7:15 & 7:30 to get seats for an 8:00 show.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
It was fine.

Ship tip

Be amenible to share your dinner table with strangers. You get a seat faster.
