We wish Princess would get better coffee. We heard so many people complaining about it. Celebrity and Royal have far better coffee.
Embarkation

Very easy- love the new medallion service. Love completing all docs ahead of time and the ease of use on board is great although one of our two medllions did not work consistently in unlocking the cabin door.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The coffee is absolutely the WORST! The buffet food was average and the buffets were too crowded- on the last day there was no silverware available and one of the staff told me, "...you can always use your hands.". Too few places for ice water and iced tea. The Crown Grill is awesome- best service ever. Sabatini's service was rather slow.
Onboard Activities

Pools- too many seats reserved ahead of time and people not showing up for several hours. We sat near two chairs that were reserved for over five hours with no one showing up. The Enclave at the Spa is FABULOUS.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Loved the Beatles show and the comedian was fabulous. The remainder of the shows and musicians were okay- typical cruise quality.
Children's Programs
Didn't have kids.
Service and Staff

Bars were crowded and seemed to be understaffed so drinks too a long time- particularly at Crooner's. The staff were inconsistent- from really friendly to barely acknowledging our presence.
Ship Quality

Very clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were plenseantly surprised. We usually stay in larger suites but were traveling with a group so reserved a mini-suite. Loved having plenty of hangers (thank you) and the spaces were well appointed, the balcony furniture was very comfortable. It was a bit crowded with the coffee table but moving it helped.
Ship tip
Be sure to secure a room anywhere but the front (where the winds are really strong) and take advantage of the Enclave.
We took a taxi to the French side ad wandered around; had a delightful lunch at a Creole restaurant. It is still recovering from the hurricane so there is still a lot of work occurring.
I was just on the Regal and it was wonderful, the food in the buffet and in the dinning room was great. I Don’t believe that a crew member would tell you to eat with your fingers, first of all that’s a health issue not to mention gross. You probably told yourself to eat with your fingers. The silverware is on the table in a box raped in a napkin. Open your eyes
Coffee in the International Cafe is very good and you can use your coffee card there and enjoy it in the Piazza. They also have pastries, donuts, breakfast sandwiches and some lunch items. I believe it's $31 for 15 specialty coffees and brewed coffee is included with the coffee card. I enjoyed my cappuccino there every morning.
@ 1960cruiser -- I feel just the opposite regarding coffee on Princess. I thought the coffee in the buffet was awful, and I absolutely love the coffee drinks they serve at the International Cafe. The MDR coffee is pretty good as well.
I enjoy the coffee on PCL. Coffee available in Buffett are is good, but coffee in International Cafe is a bit too strong, but that's what cream is for.
