Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Didn't try the specialty dining. Ate mostly in the main dining room. Always found something to eat. Chicken was excellent. When we did eat in the buffet food was great.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We did a lot of walking on the jogging track. Used the golf equipment. Played some basket ball. We found enough to keep us as busy as we wanted to be.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Can't say how the stage shows were. If you wanted to see the shows you had to get there about 45 minutes early and wait. Not my cup of tea. We did go to a lot of the live shows, which were so much fun. Spent plenty of time laughing.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
We had a good room Steward, he was always smiling and humming. He always seem to know what we needed. We never asked for anything. We had a inside room C212. I have to say the Maître D, wasn't as friendly. He got mad at us on this cruise and on other cruise we had taken, (all over the type of table we liked to be seated at.) OH well. The different waiters we had were all good. Some of them we so much fun.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I have to say everything was clean and well maintained. The ship layout seemed fine.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I never wanted to try a inside cabin, glad we did it wasn't bad at all. It was small but it didn't bother me to much. It was clean and the bed was great. We liked the location of the bed. It was up against the back wall.
Ship tip
If you do the Medallion treasure hunt take plenty of hand sanitizer wipes. You'll need them. It's fun and you get a tee shirt at the end of the hunt. You will get to know the ships front and back.
Pretty area. Enjoyed the walk to the town. Did not enjoy the tour we took. Thought it would be a little different. It said total # of people 27. You would think ok that's a small group. Not on the open end bus they took you on. Seem to me to be a bit dangerous. They cram 5 people to a row, with one person in the front with the driver. I was the first one in on my row. I had a closure so I couldn't fall out. The 5th person had a open end. There were a few people that were not all the way on there seats. They had one stop before going to the top of the mountain. Very hard to get off the bus and then back in. Took you up to a souvenir shop. Stayed up there for 40 min. Way to long. Then on the way back they did give you an option to stay in town or go back to the ship. I would not take that tour again. Take a taxi up there I think it would be cheaper and more relaxing.
Port was ok. Our tour was ok. Our bus driver was great. The drive was nice. But where they stopped the first time for a break was not so great. Bathroom was dirty, no toilet paper (luckily I had tissue paper and sanitizer), hand soap or anything to dry your hands with. Men and women shared a bathroom. Maybe that's the way all islands are, we're not seasoned travelers. Our next stop was to long, but the casino did have clean bathrooms. The beach was so crowded you didn't want to walk around. Roads very busy. Didn't get a real good view of a plane coming into the runway, but it was kind of neat to see. I have to say we did get to see the island. Just didn't like some of the stops.
We had our luggage and when it was time for us to go. We walk right off the ship and right though customs in a matter of minutes. Had no problems getting out of the garage.
