Review summary

Weather was too humid for us, used to dryer climate so will probably not return to the Caribbean. But we enjoyed our time on the Regal and look forward to our Alaska cruise on the Royal Princess in September.

We enjoyed the food in all the venues on the ship. I thought the Horizon Court, Anytime dining rooms, International Court, Alfredo’s, and Crown Grill all met or exceeded the high quality Of food Princess offers it’s passengers. Also LOVE the chocolate ice cream cones!!

We always reserve a table for Crown Grill on our cruises. We consistently find the food and service to be excellent.

Horizon Court on the Regal was far larger than the smaller ships which made for more variety. Quality and taste was excellent.

Being technically challenged, we found the crew to be wonderful. Unlike some phone store venues on land, the staff was patient and didn’t make you feel stupid

The Princess Live was new to us but found it highly entertaining. The shows in the Princess theatre was fabulous and as good as any show on Broadway.

We found all the crew to be friendly, gracious, hand helpful. Rarely have we ever found a stinker on any Princess ship.

The Regal was very clean and well maintained throughout the ship. Christine, our cabin steward kept our room immaculate.

We had a mini suite and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony was supposed to be slightly larger on this ship but I didn’t notice.

We did the Atlantis submarine excursion and liked it. There were 5 ships in port when we were there and you couldn’t even walk on the sidewalks let alone go into any shops. So after our excursion we went back to the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico

Went to Dolphinarious and really enjoyed this excursion. Would highly recommend. There were 6 ships in port this time but was far less congested with people. Was able to shop at this port. Vanilla was the best price here and loaded up!!
