Have cruised on the Princess for the past six years My husband and I enjoy the Princess more than any other cruise line.
Embarkation

As usual Princess makes this experience pleasant because they have a great game plan which is precisely carried out by their personal .In no time at all one finds themselves on top deck ready for a great afternoon of either tanning or dining.

Food and Dining

We were fortunate to have an amazing waiter who made our dining experience wonderful. The food was very good every night. For the first time we ate on the last night in the specialty restaurant The Crown Grill. It was off the chart most delicious. The filet Mignon just melted in your mouth. The service, dinner & desert were beyond my expectations.
Onboard Activities

My husband and I just enjoy sun tanning and the pool when at sea. We do like to engage in trivia and competitive games. We attend all the entertainment shows in the theater. Late at night the casino always calls my name.
Entertainment

The groups playing at the pool are great. The Atrium (5th) floor always has wonderful groups playing various types of music for everyone. The musicians are fantastic in the show room. The production performers were great.

Service and Staff

Our waiter Jeffrey from the Philippines was supurb and his asst.Ernesto. Together they provided excellent service ,helpful selection of dinner choices ,humorous personality and just our evening most eventful. Dumitru(Buffet Steward from Moldova) was sweet friendly and nice to talk to.Always happy. Our cabin steward Elisa from Mexico was wonderful. She always greeted us when leaving for the night. Did a good job caring for our cabin and personal needs. Always smiling, happy and just nice to be around her. Gregorio (Mexico?) a server for the Concherto Dining room was soo very nice and always smiled. Liliana from F & B was extremely nice.
Ship Quality

The Show room is too small and the view from the side seats is non existant . This year I see 2 screens were added, maybe because you know the view is not visual from the sides. Being a new ship when we first cruised with Princess this was very obvious. Coming from the Celebrity ship first, I felt disappointed. Love the large screen and the pool deck where we spend most of our time. The ship is kept clean, sometimes things floated in the pool which should have been noticed. The gym is too crowded and don't enjoy going there.
We did go to the Cays on the Eastern Caribbean cruise.Love the port except the rocks in the ocean were treacherous and we did not return for the Western port stop..The changes to the island were very nice.
We went to our regular Emerald Beach stop on our first journey on the Celebrity Eclipse We were made aware of the changes due to the hurrican. The water was very rocky and the erosion of beach sand was obvious..We did not return to Emerald Beach when we were on the Princess Eastern port stop, but chose to shop to get off the ship.
We enjoyed our day going to our regular beach spot. Sad to see the disrepair and hardship the people were facing to rebuild. The water was very rough but easy to enjoy all that St Maarten provides .The people are great and hopeful. One of our favorite ports.
