Review summary
Arrived in FLL at 6am so it was a long day but embarked early (11:15!) took a quick nap and began a great cruise. Weather was iffy in Dominican Republic but did the Ocean World Excursion - Birds, Dolphins, Sharks - oh my. St. Thomas was gorgeous and a long time at port so shopped in am, took "On Your Own" to St. John for the afternoon and had a great BBQ at Smoking Rooster before getting back on the ship. St. Maarten was the port my son flew home from so the day was complicated with that ...Didn't get to the beach but enjoyed wandering around.
Regal is close to being retrofitted for Ocean Medallion Features so saw a few telltale signs like "activators" near elevators. It appears people will have a choice as to whether or not to use it ...

Ship tip
The cabins have the energy-saving slot that requires a card be inserted for lights to come on (so does the Royal Princess). I kept an old Starbucks card in the slot to avoid putting my cruise card in and out.
