Disappointed

Room Type: Inside

We were very pleased with British Airlines.  The trip was great, we were so tired coming back that I checked all our luggage.  While on ship I developed diahrea and nausea.  After consulting medical officer, I was confined to my room on ship. I took meds given to me and was told I must stay in cabin until they released me.  The cabins with no windows are extremely small, but I did what I was told until released.  I was disappointed in the Boutiques on board.  Most passengers were Chinese and did not communicate well. I had no idea, it would be so cold, windy and raining some of the time.  So, I was never in the pool or enjoying the sun.  I felt this ship was too large.  I met so many nice people but never saw them again as there were so so many people on this ship.  Upon debarkation, my husband got the virus, we went to a hotel and left the next day. We have been on many cruises.  I enjoyed Berlin and Russian, it was very interesting to go to the Hermitage and see the wall in Berlin.  Due to my virus, I had to cancel going to see Catherine the Greats cancel and the river cruise.  Loved all our cruises to the Mediterranean and the weather was always so nice.

Cabin / Stateroom
We tried to get a cabin with a window, but our name was put on the list and was never called. This cabin gave me claustrophobia. When I was confined to our cabin, it really bothered me.

Copenhagen, Denmark
We had planned to take some tours when the trip was over, but my husband came down with the virus I had on the ship.
Oslo, Norway
Very beautiful city but so cold there
Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany
We went in to Berlin on the two hour train ride, but it was very enjoyable to see the countryside and talk to the tour guide. Berlin was beautiful and the weather was so nice. It is a must to see it and all the history, the wall, etc.
Tallinn, Estonia
Again a very nice city, very interesting and beautiful
Helsinki, Finland
Beautiful city but so cold.
Nynashamn (Stockholm), Sweden
Loved this city, very interesting, went shopping and visited a beautiful church service.

Tip

The ship was gorgeous and service and entertainment was great. The elevators were normally very crowded and a long wait, so we usually used the stairs, good exercise
