Review summary

I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Alaska is magnificent. This ship is definitely for those not looking for a lot of onboard activities who plan to spend most of their time off the ship. Good for those who have cruised this class of ships before and know what to expect.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Perfect. Took less than 5 minutes to go through the process and be on the ship!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffet was good. MDR was great but started to get repetitive after a few days. There wasn't a lot of variety. Service was great.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Rock climbing walls and fitness center were wonderful. Hours for rock climbing were somewhat limited but my daughter still did it three times. This is a smaller ship so there aren't a ton of onboard activities. This itinerary is very port heavy so you only have two sea days.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were OK. You could tell the ship is new to being back in operation. There was a tango show that was nice. I didn't watch the comedians.

Children's Programs

My daughter is too old for the children's programs.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff I encountered were friendly and accommodating. It was nice that even though they had to wear masks, they had buttons that showed their smiling faces.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Areas were clean and staff was always cleaning. The ship layout is great for this size of ship. You are close to everything.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size was fine for 2 people. Would be extremely cramped with more than 2. Balcony cabins are always wonderful.

Ship tip

Take advantage of your balcony if you have one. Bring binoculars!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Great. Our group was called right at the estimated time and we were off the ship, had our luggage and in line for a taxi within 15 min.
