Review summary
We took this cruise over a year ago so things may have changed since. Alaska was incredible and I’d love to go back soon. Radiance was great for Alaska as you can see outside from everywhere on the ship. The MDR was awful so plan to either eat in the buffet which was the best of all our cruises so far or purchase a specialty restaurant package.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Windjammer Marketplace
Great selection which varied each day. Breakfast quality was a bit iffy but lunch and dinner options were excellent.
Cascades Dining Room
Food was awful. Server was really nice but had way too many tables and no help from assistants.
Cafe' Latte-Tudes
Loved the lattes here and very friendly staff.
Samba Grill
Done many of these on land and also other cruise lines. I love that they ask how you like meat cooked and bring out accordingly.
Izumi Japanese Cuisine
Food and service here was excellent. Went twice.
Giovanni's Table
Food was okay, like the other restaurants there was confusion with our dining package.
Chop's Grille
Had some service issues but food is up there with top steakhouses we have dinned at across NA.

Ship tip
Get the dinning package. MDR at least when we sailed a year ago was terrible.
