Review summary

If you want to party, then this is the way to party in style. The good news is, if you don't want to party, the ship is large enough to get away from it and because the director seems intent on making it a party ship, the other activities were more readily available. Didn't care for being "forced" through the casino if you were rushing from dinner to a show or vice versa. Overall, the crew was great and we enjoyed our time on the ship.

Did the Myan ruins with the beach. It was great having help to get there and back in time. The beach and meal were wonderful! Really enjoyed the private setting on the white sandy beach and the quaint accommodations. The ruins were nice too look at but, not being a history buff, I could have done without the history lesson that for me was difficult to follow. Also you can't go into any of the ruins as they are roped off so it's more of a photo op than anything.

Pros: The room and food service was wonderful. We didn't feel crowded even though they said it was a full ship.

Cons: The cruise director seemed to want it a party ship and even appeared to be drunk on Sunday morning in his TV event update.

Recommends Radiance of the Seas? No.
