Apart from the embarkation, the QM2 is a remarkable ship. The staff is very friendly and capable. The stateroom was very comfortable. Many food choices from the Britannia to the smaller venues. Wide choices at the bars. Enjoyed dressing up for the two fancy nights.

We lucked out with our dinner companions, lots of fun and laughs. Great food and service, too. The Veranda was spectacular in all ways. We missed the chocolate extravaganza, meeting the captain and the Veuve Cliquot room.

We received an upgrade to 11048 and found it very comfortable. Still could use a night light in the bathroom and a readable clock for night time wake-ups
