Review summary

Don't waste your money with Cunard. I traveled with several family members on an inexpensive Carnival Cruise and had better food and extertainment. Cunard is overpriced and surviving on their past reputation. Look where you're going or you'll end up like the Titanic.

We had a penthouse suite that was large but very unimoressuve. The bed, sofa and chairs were like sitting on rocks. Our fully stocked bar was never fully stocked and our in-room refrigerator was replaced twice but never worked. The A/C did not work properly either. The thermostat stayed on the lowest setting during the entire trip and our suite was never really comfortable.

I have cruised 21 times with 5 different companies but 17 of them were with Cunard. What does that tell you about how I feel about Cunard.

Been on QM2 three times, loved it each time. Have also sailed with RCI and Holland America, so not a 'cunarder'. Sorry you didn't enjoy your cruise, but we've really enjoyed it each time. Our favourite ship by far.

I traveled on qm2 4 times and I too switched to carnival much different experience but good food more fun and much cheaper may not be for everyone but for me i liked it better and honestly the cabin was very similar to qm2

What was the disappointment? Have always found a crossing on QM2 a joy! Perhaps the Cunard experience is just not your thing.

Cunard is not a cruise, it is a crossing. It isn't meant to be a party boat, its meant to be luxury travel.

Not arguing, but you are in a minority disliking Cunard and their ships. Most reviews here are quite favorable.
