Review summary

The QMII is an elegant and incredibly comfortable ocean liner.  The cabins are gorgeous, the food is gourmet, the entertainment and activities appeal to a wide range of traveler, and, most importantly, the staff anticipates your every need and desire, often before you do.  This was our third Atlantic crossing on Queen Mary II and Queen Victoria and our fifth voyage with Cunard.  We've used four other lines but keep coming back to Cunard.  They have been crossing the Atlantic and sailing around the world for 175 years and nobody does it better.

It was New York fashion week on board and my wife appreciated the designers and fashions more than I did. Actually, she loved it!

She just had a $132 million refit and it was magnificent.

Beautiful, spacious, and comfortable cabin. Well furnished with top shelf accessories and amenities.

Ship tip

The QMII is a floating museum and art gallery with 4000 framed pieces of art throughout the ship. In addition the history of Cunard is told through art work, historical photos, and printed narratives, including photos of the original Queen Mary bringing 14,000 English war brides to the U.S. in 1945
