Review summary
The ship was not layed out well, it only had 3 elevator banks and was very hard to get around. The decor could have been much better. Freestyle dinning was a joke. You had to pay for reservations at some dinning establishments and then the food wasn't worth the price of the reservation. The main dinning room food wasn't good either. The Blue Lagoon had to the only decent food on the ship. They closed the ice cream and drink machines every night by 10:00 pm. The varitey on the breakfast buffet was great but the food wasn't great. They ran out of cream, chocolate milk, and Vitamin D milk on the next to the last day. The crew was very friendly for the most part. There were a couple of snotty servers but only a couple. Our cabin was always clean and most of the servers and bus people were very friendly and helpful. The shows were good. All the activities were planned for when most people were ashore. The pool slide was open on about 2 hours at a time and it closed for the night at 5pm. There were only a couple of pool activities and after 5pm the pool area was dead. The pools were not heated and the water was very cold. The management policy with respect to individual customer service is horrible. We had to help an elderly couple bring their luggage aboard because the staff was all performing a drill and there were no porters available to help them.Ports of call
