The Pride of Hawaii is brand new with beautiful common areas and staterooms. The atrium has a stained glass ceiling with restaurants on either side looking down on an inviting lounge below.

Ports of call

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

5 out of 5
Great city, no need to rent a car here, the entire city surrounds the port. A lot of things to do and see within a close distance to the ship. We loved the Kona Canoe Club for lunch.
Don't Miss: The glass bottom boat cruise was great! We saw huge numbers of tropical fish in crystal clear water within 2 to 15 feet from the boat.

Kahului, Maui

5 out of 5
Not a lot to do in Kahului, but fun sites are within a 15 to 30 minute drive from the port. We drove to Kihei a modern area of Maui the 1st day. The second day we went to Lahaina and Ka'anapali. The former for shopping and lunch at Kimo's, where we had the best Swordfish ever on their lanai on the water. At Ka'anapali we went a luau on the water at the Sheraton, at sunset we watched cliff divers from the beach right next to the luau. What a fabulous day!
Don't Miss: Kimo's restaurant in Lahaina.

Nawiliwili, Kauai

Gorgeous island! Everything is green. The prettiest of all the islands. Even the port was beautiful. The first day, we ate lunch at Duke's at the beach in Lihue, very close to the ship, the food and view were fabulous! The second day we drove to Poipu beach and went snorkeling. Lunch at Keoki's at the Kiahuna shopping center.
Don't Miss: Poipu beach...it's just what you go to Hawaii for, it's lush and beautiful.

Hilo is full of history and a fun site to visit for the day.
Don't Miss: Hilo Tropical Botanical Gardens-gorgeous on a beautiful private bay.

Pros: Gorgeous new ship; excellent staff; no inter-island flights and constant packing and unpacking.

Cons: Wish it lasted longer!
