Review summary
The ship itself was very nice, however certain things were stil not working (being it's first year) such as beer and soda taps. The crew seemed to be lacking on service and hospitality. In the middle of the week the buffet service went from helping yourself, to having staff dish out your food for you. Very confusing for both staff and guests. Food portions in the dining rooms were on the small side, although everything I had was very tasty and well presented. My husband was definitely not full on one entree. We enjoyed the many open/public areas on the ship and the nightly entertainment was good and highly amusing. Overall the shore excursions and ability to move around the Hawaii islands without having to spend many hours in the airport was the draw for us and didn't fail. The cruising opportunities (past the lava flow on Hawaii and the Na Pali coast on Kaui) were beautiful and well executed.Ship experiences
