Review summary

This was literally the worst vacation I’ve ever been on (I would have rathered be at home working then waste PTO on this). The ship was doing construction on the room next door to us, instead of not booking our room they decided it was more profitable to make our stay miserable and cut pipes until after 1 AM one night keeping my pregnant wife and I up. When they weren’t cutting pipes they were making the hall and our room smell like chemicals. When we called to complain they said there was nothing they could do. The excursions were overpriced and lame, and the entertainment was subpar. They did not clean the cafe as frequently as Celebrity seemed to. Also, all the non tender ports are industrial sites a few miles from any actual cities or places worth seeing. Would never cruise with Norwegian again after this experience.

Food was sub-par, and the hours seemed limiting compared to the one other cruise I’ve been on. Drinks were weak pours and sugar heavy

Pools were small and filled with kids jumping and splashing even though that was not supposed to be allowed. Kids will be kids, but if you want to relax in the pool this may not be the trip for you

Only good entertainment we saw was the comedian but he wasn’t a staple on the cruise, just a one off performer

Ship Quality

The ship was confusing, and hard to navigate. They were doing construction on the room next door so our room and hallway constantly smelled like chemicals. The cafe was not kept as clean as the other ship I went on.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was much smaller than the other ship I’ve been on. Tv had limited choices (normally wouldn’t be an issue but my wife is pregnant and needed to spend more time in the room than normal due to not feeling well).
