Would recommend using the extra day in Honolulu for taking a tour in the morning to Pearl Harbor or around the island. Or go to Ala Moana Center or maybe Iolani Palace. Probably best take a taxi or Uber/Lyft as the city buses are on limited weekend schedule. Pro by ably no compensation for providing cabin and food in situation changed by nature. Going to Lahaina and cruising between Maui and Molokai is cool. Did on one of past cruise years ago when Kona not accessible due to sea conditions.

Not sure what other ports you are thinking of as the ones used are the only available ones in the islands and can only be used on certain days as the harbors are the only commercial link for supplies between the islands. Still a very scenic cruise. Not to do much at sea with no casino and need and only a limited number of on board shows and activities.

No compensation. Tried to check into an upgrade when I thought there'd be a day at sea, but no go.

Pride of America is one of the worse ships in this line. Cruised the Hawaiian Islands last year and it was less to be desired.
