Review summary

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. This is the only cruise line that stays two days on each island. Be prepared for two things when you visit Hawaii. First of all, it is VERY expensive. We found tours and other excursions to be very expensive compared to when we did our Alaskan cruise. Meals and souvenirs are also more than on other vacations we have taken. Secondly, Hawaii has become very commercialized. We loved the quaintness of all the little towns on our Alaskan cruise. Hawaii has lost a lot of that. Big freeways and crowded.

This port is very industrial. There is NOTHING to do around here. You will have to plan on getting away either on an excursion, taxi, or rental car.

You must have missed the commercialized Jewerly stores look like every other building was selling jewelry As if we didn’t have enough of that on the ship😱

Did the cruise in early May. We rented a car at all the ports and did our own thing. So much cheaper and even followed the tour buses to some of the locations.
