Review summary

Norwegian's staff are friendly. The cabins are very small and our family had 5 balcony cabins together but the staff was not allowed to open the balcony doors so we could enjoy time together - we have enjoyed that feature on other family cruises we have taken. The food is okay but not as good as some cruise lines. It was a fun family time but we will try to avoid using Norwegian in the future unless things are improved.

Depending on the Ship design it might be a Coast Guard regulation. Your hotel officer should be able to tell you. Food good but may not be as good as cruises departing mainland ports. Almost all supplies have to be shipped 2500 miles or more to Hawaii. Price of paradise for those of us who live here. But the weather and scenery make up for it.

Why wouldn’t they open the balcony doors? I thought if family stayed side by side they would do that if asked

I am not sure what you did not like. We love this cruise and booked number six for 2018. Good food, scenic, friendly staff, wonderful on shore options.
